Presidential Hopeful Donald Trump Owns Sin Stocks $MO $BUD $PM $RAY
Donald Trump. He’s bombastic, infinitely hilarious, and awesomely wealthy. And he wants to be YOUR next president.
As is required of everyone running for the country’s highest office, he has to fill out a form that outlines all of his financials. Unfortunately, according to Trump, the form is not sufficient for his massive, massive wealth.
His report lists a variety of holdings, including real estate (no surprise) and T-Bills (really? I thought only my grandma owned those).
Among his holdings include a stock portfolio of somewhere between $33.4 million and $87.9 million.
And among his stocks, Trump owns sin stocks. Specifically, he has holdings in tobacco sin stocks, alcohol sin stocks, and conflict/defense sin stocks:
- Tobacco sin stock Altria Group (MO)
- Alcohol sin stock Anheuser-Busch (BUD)
- Defense sin stock General Electric (GE)
- Defense sin stock IBM (IBM)
- Tobacco sin stock Philip Morris (PM)
- Defense sin stock Raytheon (RTN)
(He also invests in Halliburton (HAL), which used to be a defense sin stock until they spun that company off into its own entity, KBR (KBR)).
Notably, he doesn’t own any gambling sin stocks or crime sin stocks.
